dVentus has deployed smart water metering system and has been testing since October, 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This will help utilities reduce reading costs, collect accurate data and help it transition to a modern automated system. The program is expected to last up to six months period. The lessons drawn from this program will be used to expand the program to a larger scale, plan on resources and ease the transition to a modern smart water metering infrastructure benefiting both the end user and the utility.
